Week 85... Evaluation.

This week was a way good week. We had 4 investigators at church. 2 of which I wasn't expecting to show up at all. It was a cool experience. I hope that we will be able to help them continue to progress. We will need to involve the members and really get some fellowship going. Cause that's all they need now. Their father-in-law, who is a member, isn't much help. He's a Zoramite haha. We've got a bunch here. haha. So we had a really good day yesterday. The ward is getting excited, and so now we just gotta help get all these people coming back and continuing on. We had a Zone Leader Council this week it was really good. The couple missionary, Sister Beavans, gave a little speech about Elder Wirthlin and why he was such a good leader. It was because he always was evaluating himself and his efforts.

Elder Christoffersen gave a great talk about this last conference. It is in the evaluation of things that we see where we can improve. Heavenly father does expect a lot of us. "Be ye therefore perfect..." We will never obtain that state of perfection til we master the skill of evaluation. Seeing what was good and building more good. Then not looking at what was wrong but what could have improved our could have been done better. Keeping a positive outlook on everything. We must evaluate but at the same time not hurt our confidence. Never tear down whats been built as far as confidence goes. Always build and construct and strengthen. As we evaluate our efforts in church callings, work, school, family life, etc etc, we will know what we can do better and improve each thing that we do each day. Therefore bringing us closer to perfection.

I know that achieving that is possible but only through the merits of Christ and through his atonement. We must follow his requirements and do what he says if we want it. Like the old saying, "where there is a will there is a way." So I know and hope that as we evaluate ourselves in accordance with the laws of God he will give us strength to overcome our weaknesses. "I give unto men weaknesses that they may be humble...and if they humble themselves before me I will make weak things strong unto them" I love you all I know Heavenly Father does as well.
