Week 65... Weakness.

Hello everyone this week has been great here in the Kabankalan. Elder Jensen and I are doing well we are enjoying the mission and learning our weaknesses each day and finding the messages the Lord is trying to reveal to us. Finding what the Lord is trying to teach us. As for me I see weakness each day in my self. We all should and do. As we read the scriptures we read in Ether 12:27 "And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness, I give unto men weakness that they may be humble and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before before if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them."

We have weakness they are given unto us. But here we also read that as we come unto him he will show weakness. Meaning to say that as we continue in faith doing whats right we will be able to see our weaknesses. So as we are shown weaknesses the Lord has made a promise here that our weaknesses will be made strong. However we must do something. We must be humble and show our faith. We must recognize our weakness and need for the Lord in our life. Then we must show faith. Showing faith through prayer, fasting, doing things that will help you change. Seeing and recognizing your weaknesses when they appear and changing your course of action. Then the promise of the Lord comes into effect. After we have humbled ourselves and shown forth faith.

We are all weak. We all have different challenges, and trials. We all learn things a different way. I seem to learn things the hard way. Making a mistake and then fixing it. Some recognize their mistake for its really made and fix it before hand. Or they see the potential mistake and prevent it. Whichever way it is we all have weakness. And the point is to strengthen them. It can be one of the hardest things to do but it's something that we all must do. Every weakness is different. Some may be virtuous however prideful. Some may be full of charity but give no thanks for what he has. Whoever we are and whatever our weakness is.

There is a way out. There is a way to be strengthened. A way can be provided. But we must find it. Through prayer and steady consistent effort. Our weaknesses may be strong. As we continue to find the Lord and come unto him, let us find our weakness and make them strengths. Let us be humble and faithful to him and show we are willing to be made perfect. Only those that are willing to submit to the Lords will, will see and find. I know that this is a true principle and the Lord is teaching us everyday in all that we do. Let us see those lessons and use them to be better.
